#020 Be patient.
This tip can go a few ways. First, you should always be patient when waiting for your date—especially if they’re in the healthcare profession. Shifts can go over by an hour—even two—depending on their workload that day. If you hate waiting for people or hate being late, you’re out of luck. If they’re habitually late after shifts, schedule your date for their day off, or 2-3 hours after they’re scheduled end time. Second, your date might not be ready to move as quickly as you. Or maybe they take a little longer to open up. Don’t force them to talk about subjects that make them uncomfortable, and definitely don’t make them do anything that makes them feel rushed.
